Coverage
Assignments lasting two hours or longer generally require a second interpreter. Some assignments may require a second interpreter even if the duration will be less than two hours. I am happy to provide you with referrals at no charge.
Travel Time
Assignments outside of Seattle will be billed at the hourly rate for round-trip driving time.
Travel
Day rates for travel more than two hours from Seattle will be negotiated separately. Per diem will be assessed at the standard GSA rates, and travel and lodging expenses will be billed at cost. Local parking, mileage, and travel costs may be negotiated at the time a request is made.
Short Notice Fee
A $20.00 fee may be added to requests made with less than twelve hours’ notice.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made by close of business 2 days prior to the assignment or the job will be billed at the quoted rate. For assignments requiring hotel accommodations and/or flight reservations, all cancellations made with less than 14 days’ notice (and greater than 7 days’ notice) will be billed at 50% of the quoted rate; cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice will be billed at the quoted rate. Client will also be billed for all non-refundable travel expenses already incurred.
No-shows will be billed without exception.
Payment Terms
Net 30 days from invoice date. Any invoices not paid on time will be assessed a 5.0% fee per additional 30 day period.
